The Golden Moon

Hello, Sup' guys?? so, i was watching national geographic channel and came to know that people whose name starts with the letter A lives up to 2 years longer than the rest, unless of course if you shoot them or throw them into a cage with a lion, cause you know lions are not that friendly. Weird right?? But peoples who does not have their name start with A, don't take it seriously, maybe the scientist was joking!! To the "A" guys, its party time..!!!
Name one thing which you see on a daily basis, and still stunned by its sheer beauty!! Don't even think that's its your girlfriend or wife or even your mum, you know why?? Because its diameter is 3474.8 kilometers. Okay okay i admit that i the googled the diameter,So what??!! Anyways, who am i talking about or even what am i talking about?? Its the Moon!! I am a Bengali, and we bengalis like to call the Moon, Mr. Chanda Mama ( Chand= Moon,chanda is just a poetic modification, Mama= maternal uncle)!! Classic isn't it??

The Golden Moon

It was 4 O'clock in the morning, and trust me it was freezing cold there, we were waiting for the sun to come out, and luckily i saw the moon, yes, the golden moon, all ready to say bye for the rest of the day. We were at tiger hill, Darjeeling, and Tiger Hill is famous for its sunrises, everyone was gathered to see sun come out in its full pride and just  mesmerize us, but you know after a year, i still recall that view of the moon, because i  had never seen the moon so bright and different!! It indeed was A Glowing Chanda Mama!!

Romancing Rods..

hello, hi, How are ya?? Now tell me,  you fulfilled your quota of smile for today?? Oh, you haven't?? thats not fair, gimme a big smile, no don't cheat, c'mon  just one smile.. :) atta boy!!

okay you know i keep imagining things, you know visualize things in the mind's eye. like seeing a horse or an elephant shape in the clouds, or any known shape, or visualize a big fat wolf in stain marks. I'm sure some of you have this tendency.the picture i am gonna post today is of that kind.

Now tell me what do you see i this picture, just two rusty rods?? of course two rusty rods!! everyone sees it, what else, c'mon let your imagination do the work, Bingo, thats it, its romancing rods.. yeah, two romancing rods. Lets say the leaning one is the woman and the other one is the man!! Lets say they are doing salsa.. How often do you see two rods doing salsa?? well Lets not answer that question.. Hello to all, How are you guys?? So,This is my first post in this blog. And you know first is always special, yup!! So its a photo blog, i'll be posting photos, and you know there's a story behind every photo. Okay, so lets get started.
Couple of months back, i was just sitting in the bedroom, and listening to some songs, which song? well i really don't remember. And i saw this awesome colorful insect one the floor, showing off its impeccable grace. I thought it was a butterfly,but when i came near, i figured it was a moth. I just could not help but take photographs of it until it flew away..It just made my day, It really did.. :)
